This immune boosting tea is a great drink to sip if you feel a tickle in your throat, or if your energy levels are low and you think there's a cold coming on!

Thyme is a really beneficial herb for the respiratory tract, lungs and throat. And ginger not only has antibacterial properties, it's also really warming, which helps prop up the immune system. It's important to keep your fluids up when you feel like you're coming down with something, and this tea is definitely a nice alternative to plain water!  enjoy x

Ingredients:

  • 2 sprigs of fresh Thyme
  • 2cm piece of Ginger, grated finely
  • Juice of 1 Lemon
  • Rind of half a Lemon
  • 1tbsp Honey

 

Directions: Mix all ingredients with hot water, or place them into a tea infuser pod
